This painting was inspired by a photo taken by the ED of emBOLDen Alliances (eA), a nonprofit organization which I co-founded and am the current Board Chair.
In January, eA traveled to Bangladesh in partnership with Direct Relief to work with a local partner organization serving Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals.
Over 800,000 people were forced from their homelands and have now been suffering from monsoons, flooding and landslides.
